After Chemical Exposures & Drugs Sauna Detox Cleanses the Body

It’s difficult to avoid the effects of chemical exposure in today’s world. Drugs are an obvious source of exposure, but even if one does not use drugs or medication, there are still plenty of other chances to suffer exposure to toxic substances. On the large scale, people who work in manufacturing and other industries where workers regularly handle hazardous substances are exposed often on a daily basis to chemicals that can have a severe negative impact on health, particularly when this occurs in a catastrophic event. On the smaller scale, people who work in auto repair shops, nail salons and other environments where chemical fumes are common often suffer effects of the long-term exposure. Even those whose jobs don’t involve chemical exposure still usually suffer from low-grade exposure thanks to pollutants in the air and water, pesticides and other chemicals common in food, chemicals in paint and wood glue, etc. The bottom line is that most people are walking around with a chemical burden in their bodies, the result of years of exposure to toxic chemicals from a variety of sources. Fortunately, there is a way to purify the body of this burden and to make a significant recovery of health in the process.

In the 1970s, American researcher L. Ron Hubbard developed a method for relieving the body of the accumulated residues of chemical exposure, and this is now known as the Hubbard method. It is well known as the sauna detoxification step of the Narconon drug rehab program, where it is used to purify the body of traces of past drug use. People who complete the sauna detox report far less incidence of cravings for drugs, as well as a general resurgence of health and improved levels of mental clarity. The Hubbard method is also used in other settings outside of Narconon, as in an example provided by a 1987 issue of the Journal of Toxicology Cutaneous and Ocular Toxicology, in a report titled “Excretion of a Lipophilic Toxicant Through the Sebaceous Glands: A Case Report.” In it, we learn of a case in which a 23-year-old woman developed symptoms serious enough that she had to quit her job after being exposed to harsh chemicals in the workplace. She was charged with spraying down industrial equipment, and the contaminated water which splashed into the air and washed onto the ground where she was working — without any protective gear — was harsh enough to strip paint off cars parked nearby.

Sauna Detox Flushes Out Toxic Residues

The young woman began suffering from symptoms including sore throat, eye irritation, hoarseness, extreme malaise and lethargy, interrupted sleeping pattern and feeling “terrible all the time.” Nothing seemed to work in her search for a treatment until one doctor suggested that she do the Hubbard method for detoxification. This program is used on the Narconon program to treat the accumulation of drugs in the body, but it has broader applications in the field of health as well. With a combination of heat stress induced by sitting in a sauna, aerobic exercise, and consumption of oils, vitamins and minerals in carefully measured quantities, the Hubbard method works to release toxic residues from the fat cells of the body.

These residues are then flushed out through the sweat as well as the gastrointestinal tract. In the process, people often notice feeling the direct effects of past chemical exposure as the substances pass through. In the case of the young woman featured in the report, the fourth day of the program saw her body secreting a black substance through her skin, and this continued on a gradually lessening basis until she completed the program. Her symptoms all reduced or disappeared entirely, and she was able to return to work. The Hubbard method can do wonders for a person whose health has been jeopardized by exposure to toxic chemicals, giving them essentially a fresh start and relief from what may otherwise have been debilitating symptoms.
